A high-end burglary outfit finds out where a long-lost, multi-million-dollar Faberge' egg is being housed. Once the imperial egg is seized, it must go all the way from the Atlantic coast of southeastern North Carolina to the Mojave Desert in southern California. An eccentric waitress is encountered along the way, and puts an insidious monkey wrench into one 30-something male's best-laid plan in film-noir-esque fashion.
