In a nearly wordless graphic novel, a little girl, while on a beachy vacation with her Lao Lao, finds a beautiful flamingo feather in her grandmother's house that turns her visit into something wonderful and magical.

Shelly, Coral, and Angel visit Flamingo Island with Shelly's mom, but Shelly must put things right when the rock she took as a keepsake ends up being a flamingo egg.
