Description
In 1980, a group of writers, academics, and baseball fans met in New York City and created a new game: Rotisserie Baseball. The idea was simple: create an imaginary baseball team with real baseball players and follow the statistics. The game quickly grew in popularity, eventually exploding into a multi-billion dollar industry and revolutionizing the way fans watch and participate in sports. The founding fathers never foresaw how their creation would take off and ultimately leave them behind.
