Ann found this title to be "an engrossing novel of survival with an added question of faith. The novel begins with a group of people in a life raft who have just survived a catastrophic explosion aboard a yacht. Unbelievably, three days after the incident, a man is seen swimming in the water towards the raft. As he is pulled aboard, he claims he is the Lord. The book is divided into three parts: the sea, the land, and the news. Each section is told from a different character's point of view. This fast-paced novel mesmerizes the reader into continuing this journey with the survivors and their ultimate fates."
