Luckily Alma has an idea: what if they help Junior make his own book? Then, Alma and Eddie want to surprise Nestor and Gloria for their anniversary, but when Gloria gets called into work unexpectedly, their plans might be a bust!

When Mami's former music student, Sonny Soto, invites Alma's family to his big concert, Alma excitedly invites her friends to come along without asking first. Then, When Alma gets creeped out by a bearded dragon, she realizes that with enough information, it's not as scary as she thought.

When Chacho chews holes in the socks that Alma was planning to donate for the Community Center's Bomba Drum Fundraiser, she has to figure out a way to transform the holey mess into a new success. Then, Alma offers to record Papi's animal show while he's busy and recruits her friends and their talented pets to help. But Alma keeps messing up on the camera. Will this week's show be cancelled?

Alma invites Howard to play in the park's drum circle. After searching for the perfect drum, Howard settles on a bucket drum. But when the bucket goes missing, what will he play? And Mami and Papi offer to give Alma and Junior toy tickets in exchange for doing extra work around the house. When Alma gets Junior to help her with a job, she pays him less than she got. Why does she feel bad?

Beto invites Alma and her friends over to break the piñata his Abuela made for him. But when Alma sees he looks hesitant, she wonders if he really wants to break it. Then, Alma donates her toy octopus at the Community Center's Free Table. But when she sees Lucas playing with her old toy, she wants it back.

When Rox and Blair accidentally get stuck together with sticky hairspray, it's up to Sunny to help them work together to get unstuck and save the day.

Doodle enters the Perfect Pet Show Contest. With Sunny, Rox, and Blair's support, he overcomes obstacles, including Lacey and KC. In the final event, Doodle must decide if it's more important to win or help a friend in need.

When Blair meets her idol, Mandy the pop star, it's discovered they look exactly alike. Envious of each other's lives, the girls trade places for the day but soon learn the grass isn't always greener on the other side.

Doodle mistakenly believes Sunny has forgotten him on Friendship Day and goes out in search of a new friend. When Doodle is taken by Scratch, the Dog Catcher, Sunny will stop at nothing to get her friend back.

The girls style visiting Princesses and take the younger one, Annabella, on a fun-filled day around town. With Sunny's help, Annabella shows her sister Dominica the importance of trying new things, just in time for the ball.
